Ms. Ann K. Peton, MPH
is the Director for the National Center for Rural Health Works and the National Center for the Analysis of Healthcare Data (NCAHD) both located in Blacksburg, Virginia. She became the new Director for NCRHW in 2017 after the retirement of our cofounder Dr. Gerald Doeksen.
With over 30 years’ experience working with local, state and national entities and individuals regarding geographic information systems (GIS) applications and usage, Ms. Peton established NCAHD in order to create and provide the most complete and consistent set of healthcare workforce data and mapping tools in the nation for physicians and seventeen other non-physician healthcare providers. Successful partnerships with AMA, AOA, HRSA and many other healthcare centers, national provider organizations and other stakeholders has affirmed NCAHD as a leader in support healthcare research, hospital network planning, grant writing and advocacy concerning healthcare workforce policy issues
Ryan M. Hutchinson
Mr. Ryan M. Hutchinson, M.S Econ
is the Assistant Director for the National Center for Rural Health Works located in Blacksburg, VA. He joined the NCRHW team in March 2018.
Mr. Hutchinson brings to the center expertise in economic modeling, trend analysis, and economic impact studies. He will be a large part of the marketing presence for the National Center, and hopes to provide the best service to the NCRHW stakeholders and clients.
